With almost 20 years of experience in graphic design and print management, I have served clients who range from national nonprofits with millions of supporters to small artist collectives. PICTURE BOOK / ADOPTION STORY BOOK DESIGN
Proficient in desktop publishing software like Adobe InDesign, as well as online platforms like MixBook, Shutterfly, and Lulu, I have been designing picture books for family, friends, and close clients for decades. Whether it be celebrating a centennial birthday, a high school graduation, or a summer of fun, picture books are a great way to capture and preserve memories. When we adopted our son in 2015, I designed a simple book surrounding his birth story. This board book was a perfect bedtime story when he was very young, and now serves as a beautiful memento and an important document of his personhood. I am excited to share this service with other adoptive parents.
BOOK + self/indie-publishing + printing guidance
I co-founded a small publishing company in 2011, and have designed and published books for Mend My Dress Press. I’ve designed books for individuals and small organizations (like Left Bank Books) and helped them navigate the world of self-publishing and printing.

I have worked with individual artists and groups to navigate creating indie tarot and oracle card decks through design and desktop publishing, to pre-press work, to working with printers in the U.S. and abroad.

With almost 20 years experience of designing and working with vendors and printers, I've produced everything from branded mugs, T-shirts, and canvas patches to hand-sewn DIY table banners, pop-up banners, and kiosks and tents.
